BISHOP STEVEN HODGE
Bishop Steven Hodge has been teaching and preaching the Gospel since 1980 and is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Grace Worship Center Church of Hartford, CT, established June 1993 and God’s House Worship Center of Norwalk, CT, established January 2011. He is also the Founder and Visionary for Grace Fellowship International (GFI), established July 2015.
Bishop Hodge was born in South Norwalk, CT and then moved to Reading, PA where he, at the age of 17, accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior in 1978. While in Pennsylvania, he served at St. James Chapel COGIC under the leadership of the late Rev. James McCracken. He attended Northeastern Christian College in Villanova, PA and is a graduate of Tabernacle Bible College & Seminary located in Tampa, Florida where-by he has received a Bachelor of Religious Arts (BA Degree), a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) and a Doctorate of Religious Philosophy (Ph.D.). In July 2015 he was elevated to the office of Bishop.
After relocating to Hartford, CT in 1983, Bishop Hodge served at Holy Trinity C.O.G.I.C. (now named Latter Rain Christian Fellowship) under Rev. Hubert Powell, Jr.
Bishop Hodge has established Charis Ministries. Also, God has anointed him as a Worship Leader, as well as a Praise and Worship songwriter.
The Lord has blessed him with a wonderful help meet — First Lady and Psalmist, Minister Shirleen Powell-Hodge, and they are the proud parents of three sons, Steven (daughter-in-law Elizabeth and granddaughter Sheyenne and grandson Lincoln), Brandon and Kristopher.
The Lord Jesus Christ is first in his life and his love for God draws him passionately into His presence. John 4:23-24 says “…for the Father seeketh such to worship Him…” Bishop Hodge’s motto is, as the Father finds him, he will be “Found Worshiping”.

FIRST LADY SHIRLEEN HODGE
First Lady Shirleen Hodge was born to the late Hubert & Edith Powell, Sr. She is from a very musical and anointed family consisting of 4 brothers and three sisters.
While she had been going to church all of her life, it was not until June of 1979 that she gave her life to the Lord at her home church, Holy Trinity C.O.G.I.C. (now Latter Rain Christian Fellowship). While there she served as Choir Director of the Heavenly Choir of Holy Trinity.
First Lady Hodge has been singing in front of congregations since the age of three. She is an anointed Psalmist; and the Lord has allowed her to sing in front of thousands of people. She has shared the stage with “Gospel Greats” both past and present and she has also lent her vocal talents to several recordings.
The Lord blessed Bishop Steven Hodge to find a “good thing” and he married Shirleen on December 29, 1984. They are the proud parents of three wonderfully blessed sons: Steven (daughter in-law Elizabeth and granddaughter Sheyenne and grandson Lincoln), Brandon and Kristopher.
Part of her testimony is that you can live a saved life while being single and God can keep you even through a courtship!
On June 13, 1993, when Bishop Hodge answered the Pastoral call, Shirleen became the First Lady of Grace Worship Center Church in Hartford, CT. And in January 2011, she became the First Lady of God’s House Worship Center in Norwalk, CT.
Minister Hodge is a very active “First Lady”. She is the Choir Director of the Anointed Voices; she serves as the lead of the Marketing Ministry and provides personal ministry to the women of GWCC.
First Lady Hodge is an awesome woman of God who daily impacts the lives of those around her by her spirit of excellence and her desire to only do God’s will. The Lord is continually doing a new thing in her life and it is marvelous in our eyes.
